I entered the quilt I made for Johnny's 45th birthday. I pieced the quilt and my sister, Janet in Las Vegas, and I quilted it on her long-arm quilting machine. The pattern is Jacob's Ladder. The wide yellow outer border has honeybees on it, in honor of Johnny being a beekeeper.

Congratulations, Carolyn. The quilt is beautiful! You haven't forgotten about your promise to make my cats' quilt, have you?
No, I haven't forgotten. In fact, in October, I took a class to learn how to applique the cats on the quilt squares. I just haven't had time to really concentrate on it. The class instructor warned me to practice a lot before I tried to applique the cats. I have four quilts waiting for me to work on them. Yikes!!
