We had a very relaxing visit with Doug and Marni. Went to see the new house they are building in Strawberry (you can check it out at www.deserthawgs.blogspot.com ) and we played a rousing game of dominos that lasted for several hours on Friday afternoon. It was a fun trip. Much colder than we are used to. It was fun to visit with everyone. Now we're hoping they will come see us and check out east Texas.Wednesday, January 17, 2007

That certainly brings back memories of Texas for me. Growing up my family played "Texas 42" and all of my mother's relatives played both "42" and regular dominoes. Many a day I had to go to school after only 5 hours sleep because my father would not quit playing until he had won the sugar game! (Both sides of my family are native Texans)
That guy on the right needs a haircut!
